About Me

Zeynep Atınç: Zeynep Atınç is an Istanbul based designer who was born in Ankara (1977) and raised in Brussels, honed her design skills at Hacettepe University, Fine Arts, Painting with a PhD degree. Atınç has worked at several established brands in Istanbul where she gained invaluable experience and insight to the footwear industry. Atınç finds inspiration from vintage shoes to mens shoes and artchitecture. Combining and mixing them altogther yet finding references to produce the utterly sexy, also functonally practical shoes that are delightfully out of the ordinary. Atınç doesn’t rely on “fashion” and “trends”. Atınç chooses luxurious materials sourced from Italy that make a strong statement. Always combined with custom developed hardware and signature details which she aims to instill more handcrafted elements into each collection. Atınç’s wares do not aim to satify womens’ stylistic impulses. Instead, they seek to add timeless value to their wardrobe. Zeynep Atınç currently lives and works in Istanbul, where she is building her own brand while working on special projects.
